The company was recently acquired by Terrapex Environmental Ltd., an engineering and geosciences company offering specialist environmental consulting services,  

Alston Associates continues to operate as a separate business unit from Terrapex, but our partnership will allow Terrapex and Alston Associates to offer both geo‑environmental and geotechnical consulting services to our respective clients.

Alston Associates is pleased to announce the appointment of Oliver Graham Owens as General Manager, following an extensive recruitment process.  Oliver will assume his new role on June 1, 2012.

Oliver has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Portsmouth and is a Fellow of the British Geological Society.  He brings to Alston Associates more than fifteen years of international experience, and was most recently employed as an Associate Engineer and Divisional Manager of geo‑engineering at Robinson Design Limited in the United Kingdom.
